Meet the Owner of Bainter Sunflower Oil, Wes Bainter!
Wesley and Casey Bainter, owners of Bainter Sunflower Oil, LLC, reside in Hoxie, Kansas. For nearly four decades, Wes has been an integral part of the Bainter family farm and cattle operation, which his great-grandfather homesteaded in Sheridan County.
But there's much more depth to the story than just the creation of a superior sunflower oil product for distribution in the United States. Wesley has become involved with a missionary group working with officials desiring to establish a sunflower crushing and oil bottling plant in Zimbabwe.
Wes says, "it is an honor to be a part of helping the people of Zimbabwe create an industry that could prove to elevate their economic situation. We have the knowledge, resources and desire to be of help, and are excited to see what will transpire in the next few years."
As an added note, Wesley Bainter has been making making things happen for nearly four decades. His company, Bainter Construction Services, has built everything from single-family homes and apartment complexes for the elderly, to manufacturing facilities and products for the ski-lift industry. This mechanically gifted businessman also has a number of patents to his credit, including a hydraulic grain bin jacking system, and the Bainter Boom Trencher.
